This brick classical revival structure was completed in 1908 by the South Park school System, now known as the Beaumont Independent School district. called South Park School for many years, the name Pietzsch was later adopted to honor an early superintendent. Featuring a segmentally pedimented entry and engaged Doric pilasters, Pietzsch Elementary is Beaumont's oldest existing public school building. Recorded Texas Historic Landmark - 1985
